After come with Civic Si Concept coupe and Civic Concept sedan at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show, now the specs engine of 2012 Civic Si unveiled. Report from Temple of VTEC forums, this new Civic will powered with 2.4-liter gasoline engine that will replace the 2.0-liter unit four-cylinder engine that can produce 197 horsepower, while this new engine expected can produce more that 200 horsepower.
This Civic Si engine is same very similar to the Acura TSX’s powerplant. Other news say that Honda now planning an HF trim level just for the sedan with gray or white exterior color that will equipped with manual transmission. The detail specs of 2012 Civic Si still not yet release by Honda, but will available soon.
